This application will allow you to complete contact information and select desired coaching division. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. Your application will be approved based on board vote and your director will contact you. If you are approved to coach, you will then need to pass a background check and complete abuse prevention training.
The following time commitments apply:
Attendance at Assessments (Late February) and Division Draft Night (TBD shortly after assessments - you will be notified)
2-3 practices per week
2 games one during the week and one on Saturday (if you are interested in coaching select you will most likely have a game on Sunday as well)
Coaches' meetings (TBD you will be notified)
Coaches' clinics
Total of 10-15 hours per week minimum
If you are available to meet the above time commitments, then please proceed with this application. If you are not available to meet the above time commitments, we truly appreciate your desire to volunteer and other opportunities such as concessions, team parent, or scorekeeper may be a better fit.
Our expectation of our coaches is that they work with board members as a united team. This means there is no bad mouthing the league operations in front of parents or to other coaches. If you have suggestions or concerns, you may reach out to a board member for further clarification and discussion. If this is not something you can commit to please do not proceed with this application, if you are found participating in negativity against the league you will be addressed by the board and not approved to return as a coach.
Our expectation of our coaches is that you are sober and of sound mind while coaching our players. The safety and experience of our players is our first priority and if it is not yours, please do not proceed with this application.
You will be required to pass a background check. You cannot have any pending charges, felony convictions involving children or violent crimes (other crimes will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the board of directors) or be a registered sex offender.
